The Sobe Lizards who used to be known as the Black Footed Ferrets have been around since the inception of the HFFL. Winners of two Super Bowls, four Division Crowns, and two Pro Bowls, the Sobe Lizards are among the more successfull teams in the HFFL.
Team Names: Black Footed Ferrets
The Franchise came into the league as the Black Footed Ferrets and remained as such for the first five years. During that time the Ferrets were 38-32, won Super Bowl III and Div. 2 once in 1999, their last year as the Black Footed Ferrets.

Sobe Lizards
The Lizards went to two Super Bowls in their first two years winning Super Bowl VI in their first year and their division in 3 of their first 4 years after the change.

Coaches: LaVell Edwards
LaVell Edwards is the only coach the Franchise has ever had. After spending several years coaching college football for BYU, leading them to a National Championship in 1984, he accepted an offer to coach the team in the start-up HFFL and has been with the Franchise ever since.

He's put together an impressive resume. Along with his over all winning record, Coach Edwards has led his teams to the play-offs eight times, four division titles, four Super Bowls, and two Super Bowl Championships.
